It occurred to me the other day
That if the universe was created in moments
And if energy is eternal
The source of itself and of matter
and if the only thing that ever changes is state
Then everything that I am
Every particle of every atom
The electricity of every thought
Decision and regret
Has existed from the beginning of time
We are moments of consciousness
In an eternity of Presence.
